What is it?
No gas connection needed, ever
An all-electric heat pump draws heat from the outside air (or, in some setups, the ground) and uses it to heat your home and hot water — with no gas boiler in the system at all. Because it runs at lower flow temperatures than a traditional boiler, it performs best when paired with good insulation and a heat-emission system, such as underfloor heating or oversized radiators, that can distribute that heat efficiently.
This makes it the natural choice for new-build homes, which are typically designed around it from the start, and for existing homes that have already been well insulated.

What happens to my gas connection?
Once the heat pump takes over all heating and hot water, the gas connection can be cancelled if you wish.
Do I need a 3-phase connection?
Often that's desirable, depending on the heat pump's capacity. We check this during the inspection and advise on an upgrade if needed.
How does it differ from an all-electric ready heat pump?
An all-electric ready system starts as a hybrid setup, prepared for going fully gas-free later. With all-electric you're off gas straight away.
