- Heat pump: gas usage is converted to heat (9.77 kWh per m³, boiler efficiency 90%) and delivered at an average efficiency (SCOP) of 3.2 to 3.8, depending on your insulation. Hybrid covers about 70% of the heat demand, all-electric all of it. With all-electric, fixed gas costs also fall away (adjustable).
- ISDE subsidy all-electric (air-water): €1,025 + €225 per kW + €200 for a unit with energy label A+++ (RVO.nl, 2026). We estimate the capacity from your heat demand. For hybrid we use an indicative amount; the exact amount depends on the unit.
- Loan: energy-saving loan of the Nationaal Warmtefonds over 15 years for the investment after subsidy. Rates and conditions change and depend on your income; approval is required.
- Solar panels: about 350 kWh per panel per year. Without net metering (as from 2027) you use roughly a third yourself; the rest is fed back at the feed-in compensation. Solar panels have 0% VAT.
- Battery: shifts daytime surplus to the evening, up to its capacity (about 250 charge cycles a year, 90% efficiency).
- The investment is based on our starting prices (€6,000 hybrid, €11,000 all-electric, plus €600 per kW above 6 kW for all-electric) and is therefore indicative. Not included: rising energy tax on gas and energy price increases.
